Yellow colour is made from turmeric, blue colour from indigo, and red colour is made from safflower or palash flower. Coal is used for black colour, Whereas green colour is obtained from leaves. These natural colours are prepared by mixing water and cow dung or rice paste, Due to which the colors are deep and durable.
